Publish The Knowledge is dedicated to the call by Imam W. Deen Mohammed to ‘structure, guard, and publish the knowledge,’ i.e., his language and teachings. Knowledge must first be ‘structured.’  In a paper on ‘Knowledge Structure’ by the Scientific Reasoning Research Institute of the University of Mass-Amherst, reads the following, “Essential to the process of structuring (or re-structuring) knowledge is the classification and inter-relation of knowledge elements. Comparisons and contrasts sensitize students to categories and relationships, and helps students perceive the commonalities and distinctions needed to organize their knowledge store.“

The organization of knowledge is essential to its structure, and from this structure we gain an understanding of the deep concepts embedded within that body of knowledge. To ‘guard and protect’ the knowledge, it must be published and disseminated. The Portable Islamic Study Resource App is designed to help the students of Imam W. Deen Mohammed find the structure in his body of knowledge and language, by finding the relationships and  comparisons in the many ways the Imam addressed similar topics and ayat. And then – publish it!! – through discourse and publication.
